So I am sick, and have been for the last two days. Its great not being at school, but its not great being sick. I think its the flu or something. Great huh?

I am getting more and more bored because when ur sick, all you do is lie in bed and Im getting so sick of it! Yes, I am getting sick of being sick. Thats just how I roll.

Oh, I saw this sweet shirt at Stitches a while ago, it was a pair of dice, and it said 'Thats Just How I Roll' It was hilarious. There were a few other funny ones, too. I spent, like, ten minutes laughing and searching through the piles for the funny shirts. It was a jolly good time!
Have you been able to guess the significance of the random words in between? No? Well, of course it represents that I would love to have BALLOONS with TURTLES eating BANANAS on them! DUUUUUUUH! And people call ME silly, psh!
Oh, that reminds me, I cant even believe that its little more than a week untill Halloween, and I STILL dont know what I am going to dress up as! Maybe I will go as Sam..... Hehehehee. What are you guys going to be? I might use some of yours as ideas or inspirations... If they are good enough.

play with other people.
Just make sure you don't
call her names or be
physical towards her
because then you can end
up getting in trouble in the

Weekly News Report

Yes, this is MLE with the weekly news report, CAC. This weeks report is on Back-To-School. Here are some helpful tips for that scary First Day, what supplies to bring, and how to start getting back into school routine.
How To Handle That Scary First Day of Back-To-School

• This is going to sound really dumb and superficial, but look nice. I mean, looks aren't everything, but especially if you are going to a new school you want to make a good impression. I mean think about it, would you rather walk up to someone who is wearing some nice clothes and looks interesting and talk or walk up to someone who looks disorganized and is wearing, like, clothes with stains and stuff on them? It's not a super big deal and it's not like no one will talk to you because you don't do this, and you don't have to wear like a fancy dress or anything just dress like yourself.
• Be friendly, nice, and dont be afraid to talk to new people! If you see that someone else is new to the school, and you aren't, go up to them and talk. You might be able to be great friends with them, but you won't know that if you don't ever talk to them! And if YOU are the new one, dont be afraid to talk to people. Go up to someone you see and try striking up a conversation with them to see what they are about. It could start with something as harmless as "Do you know what subject we have next?" and it could turn into a discussion on how the Raptors are doing this year, and BOOM! you have a friend. And just because they are the first person you meet, and you become friends with them the first day of school doesnt mean that you have to be BFF's with them forever. So get out there and be, well.... YOU!
• Dont pretend to be someone you're not just to fit in with a crowd. If someone says they like skateboarding and asks if you do, dont feel pressured to say yes, even if you have never been on a skateboard before. Sometimes the best fo friends have almost nothing in common, and just because you dont like the skateboarding, you might both love reading so just be you and soon you will find a group where you fit in.

On the first day, I recommend that you bring a pencilcase filled with pencils, pens, pencil crayons, markers, etc. , a couple of binders to hold all the forms and handouts you get, and obviously your backpack, lunchbag, etc. Teachers will specify what you need exactly for class, and if you need anything else I am sure there is a Staples or something a quick drive away.

A couple of days before school starts, I would try waking up and going to bed at the times that you will need to during the school years. And once you have talked to all your teachers and have everything you need, things will start to feel right and you will get into the school routine. Just always try your best at remembering your supplies, classes and homework and keep ahead in your studies.

A How-To For Girls Getting Bullied (From a Non-Professional's Point Of View)

Here is your weekly news article, peeps:

IF YOU ARE GETTING BULLIED:

If you are the victim of bullying, here are some tips on how to deal with it.

• Never cry in front of the bully.
  
• Never show the bully that they are getting to you.
• Involve an adult right away, before the situation gets out of hand.
  
• If the bully is threatening to do something to you if you tell, the best thing to do is tell an adult you can really trust about the threat. Usually they can stop it from happening.
• Always hang around a friend or adult at recess or when your walking somewhere.
• Stay where there are lots of people at all times.
  
• Do not tell the principal or a mean teacher first. Always start with a parent, babysitter, or other adult you trust.
• Keep yourself confident no matter what.
• Talk slowly, loudly, and bravely to a bully.
  
• Talk to your friends, maybe they'll have advice.
• Never physically hurt the bully, call them names, or say or do anything bad to them. You can end up getting in trouble for it later on.
  
• When an adult tries do deal with it, be honest and give straight facts.
• When telling an adult you trust, make sure you are alone with the adult.
  

IF YOUR FRIEND IS BEING BULLIED:

If a friend is the victim of bullying, here's how to deal with it.

• Always comfort your friend when they need it.
  
• Don't say or do anything bad to the bully.
  
• Be confident.
• Help boost your friend's confidence by complimenting her/him.
  
• Give as much advice to your friend as you can.
• Ask an adult you trust for advice on how to help the situation.
• Stand up for your friend.
  
• Give your friend space if they need it, but stick around your friend as much as possible.
  
• Stay in areas where there are lots of people.
  
• Be optimistic and try not to talk about the bullying too much.
• If your friend doesn't want to tell an adult and doesn't want you to, either, let her try to deal with it by herself for a little while and if it gets worse, tell an adult as an "anonymous source".
• Be ready to stand up for your friends at all times.
• Don't stress out, have some time to your self at one point in the day to just breathe.
  
• Don't cry in front of your friend or the bully.
  
• Be a good example.

So next time someone you know, including yourself, is getting bullied, be ready. Help to make sure everyone involved stays calm and collected.

It's been a couple weeks without an article but our readers (you guys) seem to like them so I will do another.

10 Tips On How NOT To Embarrass Yourself In Front Of Everyone:

1. DO NOT strut around and show off; walk like you would normally walk (unless that means exactly what I told you not to do). Go around almost like you don't want anyone to notice you.
2. Be yourself, but don't talk too much, and if you overhear people talking about something, don't but in to their conversation (It's really annoying). Don't be shy, though.
   
3. Be polite. Use your manners, but don't overdo it and make yourself seem like an English old lady having a tea party.
   
4. You can joke around, but don't do lame jokes or knock-knock jokes. Be yourself when jokin around. Don't be all stiff, tense, and boring or serious. People won't like you then.
   
5. Wear stylish clothes, but also still be unique and express yourself. Don't wear too much make-up, if any. Wear your hair light or pinned back a slight bit.
6. If people ask you questions, don't be rude, and tell the truth.
   
7. If people are chatting with you, but you have no clue what they're talking about, stay quiet and just nod or agree with everything they say.
   
8. Try not o mention your favourite movies, T.V. shows, or bands, or anything like that unless they mention them to you.
   
9. Refrain from dancing, singing, or running. Watch for where you're going. DO NOT talk while walking or doing anything overly active.
   
10. Have courage, and don't be afraid to be who you really are!

Weekly News Article: Soccer Throughout The Years.

This summer, Chloe was almost sent away to soccer camp. And as some of you might already know, Chloe is not the most sporty person on earth. So, even though Chloe didn't end up having to go, I still thought we should educate us all on soccer at its finest throughout the years.

Soccer has not changed much since it was first invented in 1863. At that point the game we know as soccer, more commonly known as Football, was developed and laws of the game had been ruled. There was even a "Football Association". The "Football Association" is more commonly known as Federation Internationale de Football (International Federation of Football) or the acronym FIFA. The FIFA World Cup competion is held every four years. The event is the most widely veiwed in the world. It has an audience twice the size of the one for the Summer Olympic Games. That said, soccer is said to be the most popular sport in the world. It started in England and still most fans sit in England. There are 17 "Laws of the Game" in football. A bit odd, right? But anyway, next time you kick your soccerball around in the backyard remember this history, and please, thank England for giving us this great game.

Summer Vacay

OK CAC readers and fans. We are having another contest. This is our first ever poetry/song writing contest. How it works, are there are two choices. You can write a poem, or a short song. The poem must consist of at least 7 lines and has to be rhythmic and it must rhyme. The song must be to the tune of "Oh My Sunshine":

So when people join, and become a member (it's free, just email Chloe or me or comment on this post) then they can say a subject that they want posted on. For example. A girl named....I don't know, how about Sallee. Yeah, a girl named Sallee joins and she loves soccer. So she requests soccer. I assighn either myself or Chloe to this assighnment and we do research on that requested subject. Then we do a "newscast" on it. Got it? So Chloe, to start us off please request something.

Also, to help out CAC please, if you are reading this, recrute some members for us. Tell girls that you know about this website!

So lately I HAVE BEEN OBSESSED WITH MUSIC!!!!!!!!!! I am not kidding! I so far have 118 songs on my playlist!!!!!!!! And I keep hearing of new songs on some web called www.last.fm so I keep adding those songs!!!

So now I have bands like Owl City,Stefy,Tegan And Sara,Meg And Dia and so on. And now I have singers like Skye Sweetnam,Lights,yeah and so on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol...
